Research Experience.

2023 - 2024

Research assistant, Biomedical Science Department

  • Provide support to Ph.D. candidates in their research, such as mouse experiments, tissue culture, protein analysis, and scRNA-seq analysis

  • Analyze the behavior of tumor-macrophage fusion through cytokine expression and RNA quantification of fusion-stimulating cytokines

  • Assist in vivo experiments using mouse model, flow cytometry, and Cre/lox system, which provide further evidence of the fusion phenomenon

  • Data mining on public GEO / TCGA database (RNA-seq and scRNA-seq datasets) to find adjuvant treatments for triple-negative breast cancer

  • Training and mentoring three undergraduate students to perform CRISPR-Cas knockout in cancer cell line

Adjuvants for COVID-19 vaccine

  • Conducted final-year project experiments on chemokine-related RNA expression patterns of dendritic cells after exposure to SAR-CoV-2 ssRNA

  • Investigated the potential of LPS and CL097 agonists as a vaccine adjuvant by looking into the plasmacytoid dendritic cell transcriptome and secretome

Summer course: Immune-tumor interactions

  • Familiarized with cell culture, gel electrophoresis, DNA extraction, lentiviral transduction, and utilization of flow cytometer to distinguish and separate cells of interest

  • Transduced bacteria and cloned Cre/lox recombination plasmids for lentiviral transduction

  • Won the First Place Award of Youth Greenovation Awards 2019

  • Collaboratively studied the potential of Ni-Cu alloy and its potential to build reversible thermos fuse

  • Uniquely fabricated and redesigned the fuse model using a lathe machine and improved the function of the fuse

  • Synthesized and appraised Ni-Cu alloy through collaboration with the VISTEC Department of Molecular Science and Engineering
